IDL are passionate advocates for environmental awareness. We are in an influential position, able to directly control our own working environment and that of our clients'. Our business philosophy has resulted in a very real understanding of best practice and methodologies to minimise carbon footprints.
We were integral to the formation of Marks and Spencers' Plan A initiative to be carbon neutral by 2012, advising the wider consultant and client teams and publishing a paper which has been integrated into their environmental management plan. Neal's Yard Remedies are the first officially certified carbon neutral retailer in the UK. We advised on architectural and product specifications. Primark are embarking on their first new build sustainable store in East Ham. IDL are proud to be advising them as project architects. Sustainability effects everything we do in our business. Not so much a service we offer but a business philosophy we like to share with our clients.
